Transition to trivalent chromium in galvanizing steel components

Transition to trivalent chromium in galvanizing steel components
The surface finishes of some RAASM products such as trolleys, suction tubes, grease follower plates, and grease guns will change from gold to silver.

This change is due to the adjustment to current regulations of galvanic treatments of steel surfaces, which from now on will be done only by white zinc plating with trivalent chromium, Cr (III).

The use of trivalent chromium in metal surface processing has low levels of toxicity, so it protects health and the environment and meets the sustainability criteria that have always been among our company’s main goals.

During this transition phase, RAASM products with gold-galvanized components will only circulate while stocks last.
